The fine folks at UIE needed an attractive & content-rich website to promote their nationwide tour.

The UIE Web App Masters Tour is a two-day conference that takes place in four major US cities and aims to teach its attendees about providing great web applications for their users. The Tour features twelve experienced speakers—each a leader in the industry—sharing their experiences and their advice so designers and developers of today’s web applications can improve their skill set and their own products.

Using a header graphic provided by UIE as a starting point, I created the website to be inviting and modern, and ensured that it’s easy to absorb the content and navigate to the many areas and features within.

The Web App Masters Tour website features:

• General tour information such as venue details for each of the four locations, dates and times with an agenda for each day, and a simple registration process
• Speaker biographies and information about the presentations they are giving on the Tour
• A Resource Library that provides visitors with written articles and embedded audio interviews related to topics presented on the Tour
• The ability to change the appearance of an individual city when it’s no longer in the future
